This is Alan Arnette's personal site about my alpine climbing. My goal is to share my experiences with anyone interested and to raise awareness of Alzheimer's disease and money for research.

I consider myself a passionate alpine mountaineer. I started climbing late in life at age 38. Now that I retired early, I am focused on climbing for the next few years. I just completed five climbs: Denali, Shisha Pangma, Aconcagua, Orizaba and Everest.
